Mallory Carter, Randolph-Macon, Sr., Outside Hitter

Carter, a senior from Moseley, Va., picks up her second weekly award of the season after leading Randolph-Macon to a 4-0 week that included a pair of ODAC wins to wrap up the first undefeated conference campaign in the program's history.  Carter cashed in 59 kills for the week as she averaged 4.92 per game (12 games played).  She posted double figure kills in each match, with 14 apiece in 3-0 wins over Virginia Wesleyan and Mary Baldwin.  She notched 15 winners and two blocks in a 3-0 win over Randolph, and capped her week with 16 kills and 14 digs in a 3-0 win over Maryville (Tenn.).  Carter hit .408 for the week and collected 30 digs.  She is currently fourth in the conference with 328 kills and 3.64 per set average and is third with 49 kills.

Volleyball Honor Roll

Cadie Castle, Bridgewater (Va.) - (Sr, MH - Mineral, Va., 9)
Castle notched a pair of double-digit kill efforts in the Eagles' 1-2 week.  She collected 13 winners in a 3-1 win over Frostburg State.  She had four blocks in that match as well.  Against Washington and Lee, Castle belted 10 kills to go with four more blocks.  She ended the week with 31 total kills and 10 blocks.

Brittany DeCesare, Guilford - (So, OH - Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y., 4)
DeCesare led the Quakers with 27 points and seven service aces this week.  She had nine kills, three blocks and five aces in a five-set loss to Shenandoah.

Rachel Turk, Lynchburg - (Sr, S - Salem, VA, 19)
Turk had a .382 hitting percentage this week including leading the team with seven kills and a .538 attack percentage against #4 Christopher Newport. She also had 64 assists, moving her into the top three in career assists at Lynchburg College.

Haley Smith, Shenandoah - (Jr, MB - Winchester, Va., 4)
Smith helped SU to a 2-2 week with wins over Frostburg State and Guilford.  Against FSU, Smith recorded a school-record 20 kills in the Hornets' 3-2 win.  She followed that with 15 winners in another 3-2 SU victory.  She registered 47 kills and 14 blocks on the week.

M.A. Boles, Washington and Lee -
(Jr, OH - Houston, Texas, 12)
Boles continued her double-digit kill streak with four more in a 2-2 week for W&L. She now has double-digit kills in nine-straight matches. Boles totaled 71 kills with a 4.73 kills per set average (15 sets played). The highlight of the week came on a 23-kill performance in the 3-1 victory over UMass-Boston. She also totaled 46 digs at 3.07 digs per set. She now has five-straight matches with a double-double. Boles currently leads the ODAC in kills per set (3.86) and total kills (405).
