Alex Lambert, Virginia Wesleyan, Sr., Middle Hitter

Lambert, a senior from Alexandria, Va., led the Marlins to a 4-1 week including a 4-0 showing at the York College (Pa.) Spartan Invitational.  Lambert collected 54 total kills and accounted for 57.5 points while hitting .269 with seven total blocks and four digs from her middle position.  She recorded four matches of at least nine kills, including a 17-kill effort with a .353 attack percentage in a 3-0 triumph over Albright College.  She had 12 winners and four blocks in a 3-1 triumph over the host Spartans.  The Marlins lone loss (3-1) of the week came to nationally ninth-ranked Christopher Newport, in which Lambert notched 11 kills and a block while hitting .258.  For the season, Lambert is third in the ODAC in kills (199) and kills per set (3.43).

Volleyball Honor Roll

Shannon Skellchock, Bridgewater (So., S - Germantown, Md.)
Skellchock helped the Eagles to a 2-2 week by dishing out 165 total assists at an average of 9.71 per set.  She also racked up 37 digs and nine blocks.  She passed out a season-high 48 helpers with 15 digs in a 3-1 win over Frostburg St.  She crossed 40 two others times; in a 3-1 win over Gallaudet (41) and a 3-2 loss to Neumann (46).

Aricquel Payne, Lynchburg (Sr., OH - Woodbridge, Va.)
Payne racked up 29 kills and 29 digs in two matches last week, including 20 winners and 22 digs in a 3-2 loss to Southern Virginia.  She had nine kills in a 3-0 loss to Randolph-Macon.

Jordan Templin, Randolph (Sr., OH - Ferrum, Va.)
Templin helped the WildCats to a 2-0 week in ODAC play.  She had 11 kills and 13 digs i na 3-0 win over EMU, and followed that with 12 kills, eight digs and six aces in a 3-0 win over Hollins.

Riley Martin, Randolph-Macon (Jr., S - Crozet, Va.)
Martin handed out 20 assists and pickd up seven digs in the Yellow Jackets lone match of the week, a 3-0 victory on the road at Lynchburg.

Alex Kinzer, Washington and Lee (Jr., S - Greenville, S.C.)
In wins over Emory & Henry (3-0) and Mary Washington (3-0), Kinzer dished out 63 assists while collected 13 digs, six blocks, six kills and four aces.  She had 32 helpers against the Wasps and 31 versus the Eagles, giving her a 10.5 assists-per-set average for the week.
