Lowers, a senior from Suffolk, Va., led Randolph-Macon to a 5-1 start to its season with a strong showing over six matches. Lowers registered 69 total kills, 57 digs, nine total blocks and four aces. She hammered out 18 winners with 10 digs in a 3-0 win over Rivier. In a 3-2 triumph over Mary Washington, Lowers went for 14 kills, 18 digs and four solo blocks. Her third double-double came via 12 winners and a dozen digs in the Yellow Jackets lone setback of the week to Wartburg.

Macon Frey, Bridgewater (So. - DS)
Frey led Bridgewater with 59 digs over four matches last week. She had 20 in a 3-0 loss to Susquehanna and 17 in a 3-0 setback to Mary Washington.
Becca Hardy, Eastern Mennonite (Jr. - OH)
Hardy earned a spot on EMU's All-Tournament Team by registering 36 kills and 13 total blocks in the Royals' 3-2 opening week. She had 11 winners in a 3-0 win over Salem and notched career-best five blocks (2 solo) in a 3-0 victory over Goucher.
Maile Munro, Guilford (Sr. - S)
Munro dished out 171 assists for an average of 9.5 per set in the Quakers 1-4 week. She posted 64 helpers in a 3-2 win over Williams Peace, the second-highest total in school history. She added 34 assists and three aces in a 3-0 loss to Randolph.
Jennifer Garrett, Lynchburg (Jr. - OH)
Garrett collected 51 kills and 47 digs in the Hornets 2-2 week. She had 16 winners and 16 digs in a 3-2 win over Covenant, and added 15 kills and 15 digs in a 3-2 loss to Maryville. She also had four aces on the week.
Alex Mariona, Randolph (Jr. - RS)
Mariona earned a spot on the Averett Cougar Classic All-Tournament Team after picking up 35 kills in the WildCats 2-2 showing. She had 15 winners with nine digs in a 3-0 win over Hollins, and had eight kills each in losses to Greensboro and William Peace.
Allison White, Roanoke (Sr. - OH/MH)
White earned MVP honors at the Averett Cougar Classic after collecting 30 of her 41 kills in four wins, helping RC to a 5-0 start. She had 11 winners and two blocks in a 3-2 season-opening win over N.C. Wesleyan, and added 15 kills in a 3-2 win over William Peace to begin tournament play.
Kirstin Sessoms, Virginia Wesleyan (Sr. - S)
Sessoms racked up 92 assists and 40 digs in the Marlins 2-3 start to the season. She had three 20-assist matches, including 27 in a 3-1 win over Rivier. She had 24 helpers and 10 digs in a 3-1 loss to FDU-Florham.
Anna Lausberg, Washington and Lee (Sr. - OH)
Lausberg collected 78 kills to go with 51 digs in helping W&L to a 3-2 week. She notched 19 kills and 14 digs in a 3-1 loss to Birmingham-Southern. She had 17 kills each against Averett (L, 3-2) and Maryville (W, 3-2), and added 16 kills with 16 digs in a 3-2 win over Covenant. She became just the 10th player in W&L history to eclipse 1,000 career kills against BSC.
