Coombs, a senior from Newton, N.J., picks up her second weekly award of the season after placing 17th overall out of 239 finishing competitors at the Inter-Regional Border Battle hosted by Rowan University. Coombs, who already owns the ODAC's best six-kilometer time (21:55.3) of the season, stopped the watches at 22:22.9 as the third-best time in the league. Virginia Wesleyan placed 21st of 27 total competing teams.

Women's Cross Country Weekly Honor Roll

Calista Ariel, BC: Placed 17th overall at the Gettysburg Invitational of a 6K time of 23:47.9.

Samantha Schreiber, LC: Finshed 25th overall at the Inter-Regional Border Battle with a 6K time of 22:44.4. That time is sixth-best in the ODAC, just ahead of her previous-best mark (22:55.8).

Sophia Dill, RAND: Posted the second-fastest time of her career by finishing 89th overall with a 5K time of 23:11.0 at the Queen City Challenge.

Alexis Mattson, RC: Finished 37th overall at the Gettysburg Invitational with a 6K time of 24:25.5.

Kirsten McMichael, W&L: Placed 20th of 282 runners at the Gettysburg Invitational with a 6K time of 23:49.6.
