Yates, a senior from Birmingham, Ala., led the Generals to a second place team finish at the CNU Invitational at Lee Hall Mansion in Newport News, Va. The Generals were second only to Division I member the College of William & Mary. Yates chimed in second overall behind only a W&M runner with a six-kilometer time of 22:27.00. That time is second-fastest in the ODAC and a new season-best for Yates.
