FOREST, Va. --- Reigning ODAC champion Washington and Lee University (13-2 overall, 10-0 ODAC) secured the top seed in the upcoming ODAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament as the Generals completed the regular season with an unblemished 10-0 record in league play.  They earn one of two byes into the semifinals, with the other going to second-seeded Randolph-Macon College (13-3, 9-1).

R-MC played its way to the number two spot with a win against Shenandoah University (12-4, 8-2) on Wednesday afternoon.  The Yellow Jackets registered a thrilling 12-11 win, moving them into second position in the ODAC standings at 9-1. Shenandoah, as the third seed, will host one of two quarterfinal matchups.  The other host will be Roanoke College (7-4, 4-3), which enters as the fourth seed.

Lynchburg College (8-7, 6-4) earned the fifth seed outright and will travel to Salem to face Roanoke in its quarterfinal game on Saturday. Tiebreakers needed to determine the final slot of the six team tournament field as Bridgewater College, Guilford College and Virginia Wesleyan College all tied at 4-6 in league play. Their deadlock persisted through the first three steps of the ODAC tie-breaking procedures requiring the fourth step, goal-differential in games played amongst the tied teams, to sift out the stalemate. Virginia Wesleyan (9-8, 4-6) will be the sixth seed and make the trip to Shenandoah for a quarterfinal showdown.

Quarterfinal play begins on Saturday, April 25, with the semifinals set for Wednesday, April 29.  The winners of the semifinals will play on Saturday or Sunday, May 2/3.  The dates are contingent upon graduation and/or exam dates of the competing schools.
