GREENSBORO, N.C. --- Washington and Lee University won 28 total events including 17-of-18 possible disciplines on the women's ledger to help the Generals sweep the ODAC Women's and Men's Swimming Championships for a sixth straight season. W&L swimmers eclipsed the NCAA "B" Cut standard in an event 17 times over the four days of competition at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.

Washington and Lee racked up all but three of the major individual awards following the meet. Emily Hageboeck and Patrick Sullivan swept the ODAC Swimmer of the Meet laurels for a second straight season, while mentor Kami Gardner was named the ODAC Coach of the Year in both sports. The Generals Sara Gaston was tabbed the ODAC Women's Rookie of the Meet, while the University of Lynchburg's Parker Hayungs earned ODAC Men's Rookie of the Meet honors. Hageboeck doubled as the ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete for a second straight year, while Randolph-Macon College's Victor Kontopanos earned the men's distinction.
Bridgewater College senior Olivia Heeb-Wade collected the Bonnie Kestner Sportsmanship Award, which features a nomination process that is eligible to both men's and women's competitors.
