Eric Yost, Guilford, Sr., Starting Pitcher

Yost, a senior from Atlanta, Ga., struck out a career-high nine batters in the Quakers 4-0 shutout of Averett. He scattered six hits and walked one in 7.2 scoreless innings, marking the second-longest outing of his Guilford career. He had retired 12 straight in the game at one point, with at least one strikeout of seven of the eight innings in which he took the hill. For the season, Yost is 1-1 with a 5.93 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 13.2 innings of work.

Triesler went 7.0 strong innings to lead H-SC to a 16-1 victory over Penn St. Harrisburg, picking up the win in his collegiate debut. He gave up one run on five hits with a walk and two strikeouts.

Zack Engelmann, Lynchburg (Sr.)
Engelmann appeared twice for Lynchburg last week, covering 8.0 total innings of work. He tossed a scoreless inning of relief with a hit and two strikeouts in a 10-3 win over Southern Virginia. He then started and worked 7.0 frames towards a 6-4 win over Greensboro. He gave up two runs on eight hits without a walk and four punchouts.

Cody Thompson, Randolph-Macon (Jr.)
Thompson took the hill for an emergency start on Saturday and promptly went 5.0 scoreless innings to earn a 7-0 win over RPI. He gave up two hits and walked three while striking out five.

Tyler Hott, Shenandoah (Sr.)
Hott came on twice in relief and picked up a pair of saves. In a 6-3 win over Misericordia, he earned a three-inning save, giving up one hit and walking one with two strikeouts. He tossed the 1.1 innings in a 11-10 win over national #5 La Roche, surrendering two unearned runs on one hit.

Koonce picked up a two-inning save in the Marlins 11-10 win over national #24 Salisbury. He gave up one hit and walked one with a pair of strikeouts.
