Gerard DePhillips, Shenandoah, Fr., Starting Pitcher

DePhillips, a freshman from Florham Park, N.J., helped Shenandoah continue its early season success with a strong start in an 8-1 victory over Case Western Reserve University. Phillips worked 8.0 frames for the win, giving up one unearned run while scattering five hits. He did not walk a batter and struck out four. On the season, Phillips is now 2-0 with a 1.29 ERA and a .212 batting average against. He has fanned 10 and has yet to walk a batter in 14.0 innings of work.

Damon Frazier, Eastern Mennonite (Jr.)
Frazier won his third consecutive start in a 12-6 victory over PSU-Harrisburg. He gave up three runs on six hits without a walk and fanned eight.

Nick Lesnak, Emory & Henry (Sr.)
Lesnak picked up a win in a 13-5 triumph over Johnson (Tenn.). He gave up one run on five hits with three walks and a pair of strikeouts.

Logan Jones, Guilford (Sr.)
Jones appeared twice on the hill last week, working a scoreless frame with a strikeout in an 8-4 win over Ferrum. He then came on for 5.0 innings of relief to earn the win in an 8-5 win over Greensboro. He gave up two runs (one earned) on three hits with a walk and three punchouts in that outing.

Chase Mayberry, Hampden-Sydney (Fr.)
Mayberry picked up his first collegiate victory with 8.0 strong frames in a 15-1 win over Southern Virginia. He surrendered one run while scattering seven hits. He walked one and fanned four.

Zack Engelmann, Lynchburg (Sr.)
Engelmann started and posted a seven-inning complete game in a 6-3 victory over Mt. Aloysius. He gave up three runs on nine hits without issuing a free pass. He struck out eight.

Riley Koonce, Virginia Wesleyan (Sr.)
Koonce appeared in three one-inning relief stints for VWC last week, going 1-0 with two saves. He picked up the win with a flawless frame in a 5-4 triumph over Ithaca. He struck out a batter in preserving a 5-3 win over Brockport St. He gave up one hit in saving the second game against Ithaca via a 12-9 result.
