Hall, a sophomore from Daleville, Va., went the distance in a nine-inning gem to help the Royals defeat Emory & Henry, 4-1. Hall scattered eight hits during his full shift on the hill, giving up one run without a walk. He fanned four batters and at one point retired 17-of-18 batters after allowing the Wasps lone run in the fourth inning. His complete game is a first for an EMU hurler since current pitching coach Adam Posey did it as a senior in 2014. Hall is now 3-2 on the season with a 3.82 earned run average.

Mitchell Stumpo, GC: took a no-decision after five strong innings in a 5-2 loss at VWU. He fanned eight and walked four while giving up one run on four hits to the Marlins.

David Goulding, LC: worked five innings in a no-decision 5-2 loss to W&L. Gave up one run on six hits with one walk and eight punchouts.

Nick Roth, R-MC: worked seven innings for the win in a 14-2 decision over Bridgewater. Gave up both runs on six hits without a walk and eight strikeouts.

Ben West, RC: worked five innings and got the win in game two of a sweep over nationally ranked Shenandoah, 14-3. Gave up two runs on two hits with five walks and three strikeouts.

Chance Pauley, VWU: worked seven innings towards the win, 5-2, in game two of a sweep of Guilford. Gave up two runs on six hits without a walk and two strikeouts.
