Nick Roth, Randolph-Macon, Jr., Pitcher

Roth, a junior from Henrico, Va., put together a strong effort over seven frames in a 7-0 victory over Eastern Mennonite. Roth surrendered just three baserunners as he gave up two hits and walked one while fanning eight. He gave up a two-out single in the first and then another single with one down in the sixth. He retired 13 straight batters before the second of EMU's two knocks. Roth and teammate Colin Selby are tied for second in the ODAC with seven wins as Roth improved to 7-0 on the season. He owns a 1.94 earned run average over 51.0 innings on the hill. He's struck out 46 and walked just two batters.

Baseball Pitcher Weekly Honor Roll

Kyle Creasey, E&H: worked two shutout innings of relief in a 7-2 setback at Greensboro. Then got the win with five more innings of shutout relief in a 7-2 decision over Bridgewater. Entered in the tird inning and ave up two hits and struck out a pair in record 15 outs.

Zach Dinkins, GC: picked up a win and his first save as a Quaker in two appearances last week. Game up three runs (one earned) on six hits without a walk and four strikeouts in six frames to earn an 8-5 win over ninth-ranked Roanoke. Followed with the final inning for a 9-8 at W&L, giving up two runs on three hits along the way.

Colin Morse, SU: improved to 5-2 with a 26-2 win at Hampden-Sydney. Gave up two unearned runs on six hits with five walks and nine strikeouts.
