Blevins, a senior from Draper, Va., was an on-base machine as he reached in 10-of-13 plate appearances for a .714 on-base percentage in Hampden-Sydney's three victories. He slashed .667/.714/1.111 overall. Blevins opened by going 1-for-3 with a walk, RBI, and a run scored in an 11-6 victory at Lynchburg. He followed that with a 3-for-3 day in a 12-6 triumph over Eastern Mennonite in game one of a series sweep. He doubled and homered while driving in three runs, scoring three times, and drawing a walk. In game two, Blevins went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored towards a 6-1 victory. For the season, Blevins is slashing .328/.500/.586 with five doubles, two homers, 12 RBI and 17 runs scored. His .500 OBP is #1 in the conference and his 18 walks are tied with teammate Ryan Clawson for the ODAC lead.
