Anderson, a senior from Clear Brook, Va., rattled off four hits and reached back five times in helping Shenandoah open the season with a sweep of Widener University. In a 13-2 triumph in game one, Anderson went 3-for-3 with a walk and four runs scored. He smacked a double and legged out a triple while also stealing three bases over the course of a five-pitch sequence. In game two, the outfielder belted a solo homer in two official at bats to help the Hornets to a 3-1 win.
