Bridgewater found itself in a shootout with Shenandoah University on Saturday, and for all the offense in the game, it was defense that provided the deciding score.  Eagles' linebacker Scottie Littles hauled in an SU pass and returned the interception 35 yards to paydirt with 2:27 to go in the fourth quarter.  Those seven points proved crucial as Shenandoah notched what would have been the tying touchdown exactly 1:00 minute.  Bridgewater's big play offense was in full effect in the Eagles' 38-31 win.  Darrin McKenzie's 61-yard touchdown run was one of three scoring plays of at least 28 yards  --- Box Score
