Pawlowski threw for 389 yards and five touchdowns on 38-of-48 passing, good for a 79.2-percent completion rate. He also ran for 43 yards. He completed passes to nine different receivers. Austen Thompson was his favorite taret, hauling in 10 passes for 71 yards and three touchdowns. Pawlowski threw TD passes of 21, 49, 3, 8, and 13 yards. The latter three came in the final 23 minutes of the contest as the Quakers out-scored E&H, 28-7, to the final horn. For the season, Pawlowski set Guilford records for passing touchdowns (38) and completion percentage (67.8), leading the ODAC in both. He also led the conference passing yardage (3,476) and yards per game (347.6). He only threw three interceptions, good for one every 123 pass attempts. Team News and Notes

BRIDGEWATER senior running back Jacob Wright rushed for a career-high four touchdowns while the Eagles defense pitched a first half shutout and forced three turnovers as the Bridgewater Eagles football team rolled past Catholic, 40-13. The victory capped off a four-game turnaround for the Eagles and sends the team into the offseason on a four-game winning streak. Bridgewater opened up a 26-0 lead before the two teams traded touchdowns in the second half.  Wright's four TDs mark the most by an ODAC back this season.  He finished the season with 1,013 rushing yards, one of three ODAC running backs to break the 1,000-yard mark.  He's the 13th back in BC history to do so.  His 17 rushing touchdowns topped the conference.  BC quarterbacks Ross Rushing (1,308 and 9) and Matt Pisarcik (1,013 and 10) combined to throw for 2,321 yards and 19 touchdowns this season.  Jeffrey Moore led the receivers with 45 receptions for 486 yards.  Cliff Woodard cuaght at team-best seven touchdowns.  Defensively, Lucas Elliott notched nine tackles and picked off a pass in the fourth quarter in the Eagles' win at CUA.  It was his third interception in the year.  Darrick Gore had a team-high 13 stops.  Gore finished second on the team overall with 87 tackles to go with four interceptions.  Alex Collins led the unit with 92 tackles, which ranks fourth in the ODAC.  Kenneth Szabo leads the ODAC with 8.0 quarterback sacks.
CATHOLIC saw its season come to a close with a 40-13 home loss to Bridgewater on Saturday.  Quarterback TJ Tutone threw for 249 yards and touchdowns.  He fired one TD pass to Tim Murphy and the other to Jeremy McGriff.  Murphy had two catches for 58 yards, while Evan Calvo hauled in four passes for 43 yards.  McGriff's TD catch was one of four on the day.  Matt Perno led the rushing attack with 43 yards on five carries.  He finished the season with a team-best 728 yards on the ground.  Tutone threw 16 touchdown passes on the season, racking up 2,371 yards thru the air.  Murphy led the receivers with 37 catches for 470 yards and four touchdowns.  Defensively, Patrick Thomas led against BC with 10 tackles.  Matthew Barton came away with a quarterback sack.  Thomas finished second on the team with 60 total tackles.  Anthony Santo led with 71 stops.  Barton and James Mooney posted a team-high 2.0 sacks, while Richard Roach led the Cards with a pair of interceptions.
EMORY & HENRY concluded the season with an 8-2 (5-2 ODAC) record after dropping its season finale to Guilford, 52-58.  The Wasps fall to the Quakers for a second straight year after winning the previous five contests.  E&H posted an eight-win season and five league victories for the first time since the 2000 season.  The Wasps just missed a trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament.  E&H instead finishes in a four-way tie for first place in the ODAC after being picked to finish in eighth place prior to the season.  E&H fell behind 14-0 at the 5:07 mark of the first half and had to play catch up all afternoon.  The Wasps only possessed the ball for a total of 17:20 the entire game as only one of their 12 drives was longer than 2:30. Emory & Henry had 327 yards of offense despite being on defense for much of the game, led by quarterback Kevin Saxton’s 203 yards through the air on 18-for-37 passing.  Saxton finishes the season in the top five in several categories with 238 completions (4th), 387 attempts (4th), 2,707 yards (2nd), 25 touchdowns (3rd), and 2,730 yards of total offense (3rd).  All are best marks by a freshman in program history.  Lucas Kirby caught five passes for 62 yards to finish his career with 135 receptions and place fifth all-time  for the Wasps while Josh Smith’s four receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown gave him 69 for the year, good for second in the record book.  Running back Isaiah Rodgers had 47 yards on the ground and caught three passes for 30 yards while Chris Thompson ran for 32 yards and a score.  Running back Kasey Jones had 24 yards on four carries including a two-yard TD run.  The E&H defense spent nearly 43 minutes of the game on the field, allowing Guilford to gain 493 yards of total offense.  The Wasps had trouble with the Quakers’ accurate passing attack which converted 11-of-17 third down tries.  Corner Tre’von Lightfoot scooped up a fumble and returned it 71 yards for a touchdown to give the Wasps their first score of the game.  Safety Roth Healey led all players with 18 stops, a forced fumble and a pass broken up.  Healey finishes the season with 10 takeaways, good for third in the season records.  Linebacker Paul Forney had 14 stops while linebacker Rennel Marshall made 10 tackles, forced a fumble and hurried the quarterback once.  Corner Ryan Byrd made nine stops and broke up two passes.
GUILFORD finished 8-2 for the sixth time in school history following its 52-28 victory over Emory & Henry.  It's the first time they've notched an 8-2 mark since 1997.  The Quakers' seniors were 2-8 as freshman, but finished with an about-face to their careers.  In the win over E&H, the Quakers held the ball for 42:40, keeping E&H's offense off the field.  Quarterback Matt Pawlowski threw for 389 yards and five touchdowns on 38-of-48 passing (79.2%), which marked the eighth time he's thrown for 300 yards this season. He also ran for 43 yards.  Pawlowski currently leads the ODAC in passing yardage (3,476), passing touchdowns (38), yards per game (347.6) and completions (250).  He set GC records for passing TDs and completion percentage (67.8%) in a season.  Running back Josh Schow ran for 30 yards against E&H, giving him a team-best 703 yards on the season.  Against E&H, Austen Thompson caught 10 passes for 71 yards and three touchdowns.  CJ Hobbs (8 for 108) and Chad Christopher (1 for 49) also caught TD strikes.  Adam Smith led the Guilford receivers in 2014 with 52 catches for 1,072 yards and an ODAC-best 15 touchdowns.  Defensively, Satiir Stevenson led against E&H with nine tackles, while Hunter Hoots had seven stops, a sack and a fumble recovery.  Jordan Farmer made just three tackles, but two were sacks including a sack-fumble in the fourth quarter to help put the game away.  Jaylan Martin and Daytwyn Rascoe intercepted passes.  For the season, Hoots led GC with 101 tackles, second-best in the conference.  He also led GC with 4.5 sacks.  JerMario Gooch picked of six passes, tying atop the league ranks.
HAMPDEN-SYDNEY won its ninth overall and second consecutive ODAC Championship despite falling 24-10 to Randolph-Macon in the 2014 regular season finale. Hampden-Sydney becomes the league's first back-to-back champion since 2005.
