CATHOLIC found itself in a tight contest with the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, holding no more than a 13-point lead at any point in the contest. CUA's final score, a 51-yard touchdown pass from Jorge Pola to Matt Perno, provided the winning margin as it helped the Cardinals withstand a late touchdown by the USCGA for a 37-35 win. Pola threw for 366 yards and four touchdown passes, three of which went to Lucas Morley. Morley caught four TD passes in total and capped his day with six receptions for 113 yards.  It is the second time Morley has caught an ODAC record-tying four TD passes in a game, making him the only player to do so in league history. Perno added 74 receiving yards to 99 rushing yards. Defensively, Nick Della Jacono led with six tackles. The Cardinals registered 5.0 sacks, led by 1.5 from Ross Sanford. E&H found itself down 17-0 midway through the first quarter and trailed 34-7 with 8:43 to go before halftime. The Wasps outscored the Scots 29-9 to get within striking distance with 6:06 to play, but the early deficit and turnovers were too much to overcome.
