Pelton, a sophomore from Charlottesville, Va., picks up his
second weekly award of the season. Pelton helped Washington
and Lee to a 42-28 victory over Randolph-Macon on Saturday by
posting a team-best 11 tackles and one interception. With the
Generals leading 28-14 and 33 seconds remaining in the first half,
Pelton recorded his interception in the end zone to preserve
W&L's two touchdown lead heading into the break. For the
season, Pelton has recorded 46 tackles and three interceptions.
He is second on the team in tackles. He leads the
Generals and is third in the ODAC with the three picks.
