Solak, a junior from Richmond, Va., helped the Yellow Jackets to
a 34-10 road win at Catholic. R-MC shutout the Cardinals in
the second half, allowing just three points over the final 57
minutes of the contest. Solak led the unit with 11 total
tackles, including seven solo. He notched 1.5 tackles for a
loss, including a sack that costed CUA 13 yards of offense and
stalled a drive. Solak was also solid in pass defense as he
intercepted a pass in the fourth quarter and broke up two other
pass attempts. Randolph-Macon held Catholic to just 219 yards
of total offense.
