Hayden Bauserman, Shenandoah, Sr., Quarterback

Bauserman, a senior from Woodstock, Va., set records for the second straight week in the Hornets back-and-forth 56-48 setback to Hobart College. Bauserman matched his own school-record with six touchdown passes for the second straight week, giving him 15 scoring throws thru the first three weeks of the season. Against the Statesmen, Bauserman set a new Shenandoah record by completing 46 passes of his 64 attempts. That ties for third all-time in the ODAC and is the first time an ODAC quarterback has completed that many passes since Catholic University's Greg Cordivari in 2011. Bauserman finished with 471 yards thru the air, the first time he's thrown for at least 400 yards this season and sixth time in his nearly four-year career as SU's signal-caller. He completed passes to 10 different receivers and spread his touchdown passes to four different players including favored target Jake Wallace, who hauled in 14 passes for 195 yards and three scores. Bauserman currently leads the ODAC in passing yards (1,097), touchdowns (15), completions (105), and attempts (156) and is second in completion percentage (67.3) and passer efficiency (156.8).
