Redmond, a sophomore from Arden, N.C., helped lead a Wasps' defensive unit that shutout the University of Rochester for three of the four quarters and held the Yellowjackets to 277 yards of offense in a 52-17 road win in Rochester. Redmond posted an ODAC weekly-high eight tackles with six solo stop and 1.0 tackles for loss. He broke up a pass in addition to providing the longest play of the day. At the outset of the of the second quarter, Redmond intercepted a Rochester pass in the end zone and returned it the full length of the field for a touchdown. The score put E&H ahead 21-0 on the way to a 38-0 halftime advantage. The interception was the first of the season for Redmond and third of the defensive back's career.
