Emilee Wooten, Roanoke, Sr., Forward

Wooten, a senior from Gaithersburg, Md., added five more goals to her season total including arguably the most important for Roanoke of the season as the Maroons won a pair of ODAC games to lock up the fourth seed and an all important quarterfinal hosting opportunity in the upcoming ODAC Tournament. Wooten opened her week with four goals in an 8-0 win at Ferrum. That set up the season finale at Randolph-Macon in which the Maroons all-time points and goals scored leader tallied the lone goal of the game for a 1-0 Roanoke win. Wooten intercepted a restart and finished off a give-and-go with Lindsey Keyes in the 16th minute. That win secured the fourth seed for the Maroons as R-MC will make the return trip to Salem as the fifth seed in the ODAC quarterfinals. For the season, Wooten is second in the ODAC in goals (21) and third in points (46). She has scored at least one goal in 13-of-17 games played.
