Pavia, a junior from Forest, Virginia, shined for the Hornets in the throwing events at West Virginia University. Pavia won the weight throw event, heaving the apparatus 53 feet.  Pavia also finished in sixth place in the shot put with a toss of 46-feet 1-inch.

Men's Indoor Track Honor Roll

Derick Kosgei, Guilford College, Sophomore - Distance
Kosgei placed ninth among 29 runners in the mile run at the Appalachian State Invitational... was the lone Division III runner in a field of mostly Division I and some Division II competitors.

Andy Nagel, Roanoke College, Senior - Hurdles
Nagel placed 12th in the finals of the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.03 seconds.  He was the first NCAA Division III athlete to finish the event.
