Alexis Janney, Roanoke, Freshman

Janney, a freshman from Daleville, Va., won a pair of individual events and was part of the Maroons' winning 4x400-meter relay team at the Susquehanna Invitational hosted by Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pa.  In the 200-meter dash, Janney set a new ODAC top time by crossing the line in 26.75 seconds.  She added a win in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.13 seconds, third-best in the conference.  Janney was joined by teammates Alease Kinney, Jessica Mejia, and Carmen Graves in posting a time of 4:03.02 to win the 4x400-meter relay

ODAC Women's Indoor Track Weekly Honor Roll

Greer Brown, Bridgewater College - (Freshman, Jumps, Sprints, Hurdles - Palmyra, Va.)
At the Ursinus Invitational this past weekend in Collegeville, Pa., Brown competed in a number of events. In the 200 meter dash, she crossed the line in a time of 28.76, finishing first in her heat and 13th overall. She was BC’s top performer in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.65 seconds. In the field, she turned in a leap of 16 feet, 6.5 inches in the long jump to earn fifth place, followed by a jump of 33 feet, 1.75 inches in the triple jump for seventh place.

Ashley Saba, Lynchburg College -
(Senior, Distance - Severna Park, MD)
Saba set two personal-bests at the Lafayette/Rider Games at The Armory in New York City. In the mile run, she finished in a time of 5:30.33, and followed that with a time of 2:33.35 in the 800-meter run.

Marissa Thompson, Washington and Lee -
(Sr., - Chatham, Va.)
Thompson placed in three events out of D-III competitors at the Lafayette/Rider Winter Games on Friday, which featured athletes from all three NCAA divisions. She came in second in the 200-meter dash at 26.80, third in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.20, and fifth in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.47.
