Theall, a senior from Blossvale, N.Y., was named the Athlete of the Meet after winning the shot put and weight throw competitions at the 2013 Mason-Dixon Indoor Championships. Theall fired the shot put 11.54 meters (37' 10.5") to take over the second spot on the ODAC's season-best list. She then heaved the weight at 15.24 meters (50' 00"), coming up eight inches short of the conference's top mark, which she already owns.

Melanie Waters, Bridgewater College -
(Junior, Jumps - Pasadena, Md.)
Waters finished first place in both the long jump and triple jump
events on Wednesday evening at the Lynchburg College meet in
Lynchburg, Va. In the long jump, the Pasadena, Md. native measured
a leap of 5.02 meters (16' 5.75"), while in the triple jump she set
a personal best with a mark of 10.92 meters (35' 10").
Hannah Chappell-Dick, Eastern Mennonite - (Fr.,
Middle Distance - Bluffton, OH)
Chappell-Dick was the top D-III finisher in the 800-meter run at
the Susquehanna Open on Friday. She crossed in 2:19.74, and was
third overall, finishing behind a pair of D-II runners. She has the
second-fastest time in the ODAC in the event heading into the ODAC
Championships this weekend.
Jasmine O'Neill, Guilford College - (So, -
Winston-Salem, N.C.)
O'Neill had a hand in two record-setting efforts at the Kent Taylor
Invitational. She set a new Guilford standard in the 800
meters with a time of 2:34.90 to place 12th in the field, tops
among NCAA Division III contestants and 18th-fastest in the ODAC
this season. She also anchored the Quakers 4x400 relay that
trimmed over three seconds off the previous school standard with a
time of 4:40.59, which stands eighth in the ODAC this year.
Kori Penick, Lynchburg College - (Senior, Thrower -
Amherst, VA)
Penick had a great showing as LC hosted the Sprint, Jumps, Throws
Challenge Part II this past Wednesday. She competed in two events,
throwing the weight 11.30 meters (37' 1"). She came back to break
the school record in the shot put. Penick's toss of 12.80 meters
(42' 00") surpassed the old mark by nearly eight inches and set a
new ODAC season-best mark.
Alease Kinney, Roanoke - (FR, - Richmond, VA)
Alease Kinney finished 13th overall in the 400-meter dash during
the Virginia Tech Challenge with a personal best time of 58.9. She

Shelby Bryceland, Virginia Wesleyan - (Senior,
Distance - Virginia Beach/Tallwood)
Bryceland helped set two VWC records at the 2013 Mason-Dixon Indoor
Championship meet on Saturday. She placed third in the mile
run in a time of 5:23.46 to break the 2010 record of 5:25.96 set by
Kelly Fauth. Bryceland has set all three of VWC's distance
records (1mile, 3K, 5K) this season. She also ran the mile as
part of VWC's distance medley relay which finished first in a time
of 13:07.53. That broke the VWC record of 13:07.69 set in 2012.
