Rachad Davis, Lynchburg, Junior

Davis, a junior from Virginia Beach, Va., started off the 2012-13 season with a pair of strong performances at the Liberty Kickoff over the weekend.  Davis was the first NCAA Division III finisher in both the 60-meter hurdles and the 200-meter dash in a meet that included a mix of NCAA Division I, II and III competitors.  After qualifying fourth in the preliminaries, Davis finished third overall in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.51.  In the 200-dash, Davis set a personal indoor-best with a time of 23.33.

Pete Monteleone, Bridgewater - (Fr., - Shenandoah, Va.)
Monteleone put together a pair of solid performances at the Liberty Kickoff as he fifth in the triple jump (43' 0.25") and seventh in the long jump (21' 11.75").

Richard Robinson, Eastern Mennonite - (Fr., Broadway, Va.)
Robinson landed top ten finishes in all three of his events, including the second-fast time in school history in the 60m hurdles. Robinson clocked an 8.58 in the preliminaries of the 60m hurdles, coming in only behind Adam Starks' 8.27 in EMU history. Robinson finished fifth overall in the finals. He also had the No. 5 time in the EMU books in the 60m dash, coming in at 7.45. He took the No. 8 spot in EMU history with the 4x400m relay, crossing at 3:33.81 for third place in the meet.

Andris Goncarovs, Guilford - (Jr., Ithaca, N.Y.)
Goncarovs placed eighth in the mile at the JDL College Kick-off Classic with a time of 4:29.50, which is the fourth-fastest time in NCAA Division III after the season's opening weekend... his time stands fifth in school history and was tops among NCAA Division III contestants (Guilford was the lone D3 school at the meet)... also ran the 5,000-meter run in 15:32.64, which placed fourth in the race and is the 13th-fastest time in NCAA Division III... his time is third-fastest in school history.

A.J. Bernstein, Roanoke - (Jr., Germantown, Tenn.)
Bernstein broke the 1,000M school record at the Liberty Kickoff. He finished second overall with a time of 2:36.50. He was also on the 4x400 relay that took 6th overall with a time 3:36.38.

Agustin Kim, Washington and Lee - (Jr., La Habra, Calif.)
Kim was the top Division III runner in the 60m with a time of 7.13. He took 14th overall. Kim also took 13th in the 200m in 23:62 with only one other D-III athlete besting him in the race.
