Kristen Trice, Bridgewater, So.

Trice, a sophomore from Glen Allen, Va., was the top NCAA Division III finisher in two events, setting new ODAC seasonal top times in both at the Liberty Open over the weekend.  Trice placed third overall in both the high jump and triple jump, tying for the league lead in the former by clearing a height of 5-feet 3-inches, the best mark for a Bridgewater jumper in seven years.  In the triple, she leapt 36-feet 7.5-inches to sit atop the conference by more than a foot.  The jump also ranks as the second-best in BC history.  Trice also competed in the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes, posting times of 8.70 and 30.27 seconds.

Women's Indoor Track Honor Roll

Alyssa Bane, Eastern Mennonite (Jr - Strasburg, Va.)
Bane placed eighth among D-III competitors in both the shot put and weight throw at the Liberty Open.  He toss of 39-feet 8.75-inches in the weight throw set a new EMU record.  She heaved the shot 30-feet 5.75-inches.

Becca Benfield, Guilford (Fr. - Lawndale, N.C.)
Benfield tied for 14th in the shot put at the Winston-Salem State Open, tossing the apparatus 32-feet 1-inch to set a new Guilford record by over a meter.  She was the top D-III finisher in the field.

Aleshia Washington, Lynchburg (Jr. - Virginia Beach, Va.)
Washington placed second overall and first versus D-III competition in the long jump and helped LC to a seventh place finish (second in D-III) in the 4x400-meter relay at the Liberty Open.  Her leap of 17-feet 4.75-inches set a new ODAC top mark by a little more than half a foot.  The Hornets' time of 4:31.57 in the 4x400 relay sits third in the ODAC this season.

Jessica Mejia, Roanoke (Jr. - Centerville, Va.)
Mejia competed in three events at the Liberty open, finishing tops among D-III competitors in the 200-meter dash in 27.45 and the 60-meter dash in 8.24.  She and her teammates placed fourth overall and first among D-III competitors in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:14.44, which sits atop the ODAC top times so far this season.

Jaclyn Mohlmann, Shenandoah (Jr. - Annandale, Va.)
Mohlmann competed in two meets over the past two weeks, placing fifth and seventh among D-III competitors in the 800-meter run (2:29.34) and 60-meter hurldes (10.09), respectively, at the Gotham Cup.  She followed that with the top D-III point total (fourth overall) in the pentathlon at the Liberty Open with 2,841 points.  She also competed in the 60-meter hurdles (9.93), 200-meter dash (29.98) and 500-meter run (1:25.54).  She was the second D-III finisher in the hurldes, missing the top spot by 0.01 seconds.

Courtney Mebane, Virginia Wesleyan (Sr. - Virginia Beach, Va.)
Mebane competed in five events at the Hampton University Indoor Invitational, a meet in which VWC was the lone D-III competitor, but still placed second in the team standings.  Mebane set a new Marlins record and tied atop the ODAC lists by clearing 5-feet 3-inches in the high jump, placing second overall.  She was eighth overall in both the long jump (15' 075") and shot put (24' 11.25") and 13th in the 60-meter hurdles (9.65).  She led VWC in each of those events, except the shot put.  Mebane also participated in the 4x400-meter relay, which placed sixth overall in 4:16.61.
