Ethan Fowlkes, Virginia Wesleyan, Sr., Jumps/Sprints

Fowlkes, a senior from Quinton, Va., competed in three events at the 2015 schedule-opening Liberty Open over the weekend.  He finished second overall and was the highest-ranked NCAA Division III competitor in the long jump, setting a new ODAC season top-mark of 6.74 meters (22' 1.50"), which ranks 16th in the country.  He posted a second ODAC top-three finish in the triple jump, placing fourth among D-III competitors with a leap of 12.85 meters (42' 2.0").  He also competed in the 60-meter dash, chiming in 10th among D-III competitors at 7.51 seconds.

Luke Sohl, Bridgewater (Sr., Distance - Burke, Va.)
Sohl won the mile run at the Liberty Open, stopping the watches at 4:24.61, just four seconds shy of the BC school record.  He tops the ODAC lists so far this season.

Drew Vrolijk, Eastern Mennonite (Jr., Jumps - Harrisonburg, Va.)
Vrolijk won the high jump at the Liberty Open, eclipsing 1.99 meters (6' 6.25") to place atop the ODAC standings.  It is a new PR for him and improves his hold on EMU's #2 mark behind the 2.06 meters set by Jordan King last year.

Brandon Rothfuss, Guilford (Sr., Sprints - Raleigh, N.C.)
Rothfuss ran the seventh-fastest 400-meter time in GC history with an 11th-place time of 52.87 seconds at the Winston-Salem State Open.

Brian Fuentes, Lynchburg (Jr., Sprints/Hurdles - Fairfax, Va.)
Fuentes won the 60-meter hurdles athe Liberty Open with a time of 8.76 seconds, tops in the ODAC so far.  He also posted a time of 53.51 seconds to finish 10th in the 400-meter dash.

Harrison Toney, Roanoke (Jr., Distance - Roanoke, Va.)
Toney won the 5,000-meter run a the Liberty Open with a time of 15:33.94, defeating the second-place runner from VCU by nearly 22-seconds.  It is fifth-best in the ODAC this season.

Ansel Borhauer, Shenandoah (So., Sprints - Burke, Va.)
Borhauer was third overall and first among D-III competitors in the 200-meter dash at the Liberty Open, posting a time of 23.65 seconds.  It's just 0.10 seconds off his season-best that ranks second in the ODAC.

Ian McDonald, Washington and Lee (So., Distance - Richmond, Va.)
The ODAC individual cross country champion won the 3,000-meter run at the Liberty Open, posting an ODAC top-time of 8:44.02.  It ranks 13th in the country so far this season.
