Martin, a freshman from Winston-Salem, N.C., put together a strong performance at the Vince Brown Invitational hosted by Christopher Newport University.  Martin's highlight performance came in the long jump when he finished third overall and first among NCAA Division III competitors with a leap of 6.76 meters (22' 2.5"), tying for the top spot in the ODAC.  The jump also ranks 40th in the country.  Martin sprinted in the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes, posted ODAC top-three times of 7.13 and 23.39 seconds.

Men's Indoor Track Honor Roll

Nevin Heckman, Bridgewater (Jr., Mid-Distance - Harrisonburg, Va.)
Heckman set a Bridgewater record in the 1,000-meter run, finishing second overall in 2:32.91.  He was one of four runners to defeat the meet record time at the DuCharme Invitational hosted by Dickinson College

Devantae Crews, Eastern Mennonite (Fr., Sprints/Jumps - Lynchburg, Va.)
Crews placed second 200m (23.94), second in the long jump (6.17m; 20' 3.0") and third in the 55m (6.82) at the DuCharme Invitational.  The 55m time is eighth in EMU history.  He also ran a leg of the 4x200m relay that finished third in 1:37.42.
