Sims, a sophomore from Charleston, W.Va., tied his grip on the best mark in the pole vault in the ODAC after competing at the VMI Winter Relays. Sims set a new career-best when he eclipsed 4.50 meters (14-9.00) to finish fourth of 13 overall competitors and tops among Division III vaulters. That mark ranks 45th in the country and is better by 0.40 meters than the second-best clearance in the ODAC.

Men's Indoor Track - Field Athletes Honor Roll

Ryan Shepard, BC: finished 10th in the high jump at the VMI Winter Relays. He cleared 1.85m (6-0.75), which ties for the top mark in the ODAC.

Dalton Hoppe, LC: took over #1 in the in the weight throw after finishing six overall at the VMI Winter Relays with a heave of 15.47m (50-0.25).
