A.J. Witherell, Washington and Lee, So., Attack

Witherell, a sophomore from Wilmington, Del., notched a 14-point week in leading the new minted nationally 15th-ranked Generals to a pair of high-profile victories last week. Witherell opened with four goals and four assists for a career-best eight points in a 14-6 triumph over Christopher Newport. He added four ground balls and two caused turnovers to his stat line. Witherell scored four more goals to go with two assists as Washington and Lee came from behind for a 15-11 win over then 10th-ranked Denison (now 16th). He chipped in two more ground balls. For the season, Witherell leads the early ODAC charts in points (16), goals (10) and assists (6). 

Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll

Zach Berkowitz, Guilford (So. - A)
Berkowitz tallied a game-high three goals and one ground ball in the Quakers 10-6 setback to Sewanee.

Ian Levin, Hampden-Sydney (Jr. - A)
Levin fought thru illness to post four goals, including three in a decisive third quarter, to lead the Tigers to a 14-11 win over Berry in Charlotte, N.C. He added two ground balls.

Andrew Thomas, Lynchburg (So. - A)
Thomas scored a career-best four goals in the Hornets 11-10 win at Franklin & Marshall, who at the time was receiving votes towards the USILA national poll.

Miles Muncie, Randolph-Macon (Jr. - A)
Muncie scored four times in the Yellow Jackets 13-12 setback to Mary Washington. He followed that with two goals and an assist in a 9-8 triumph over Catholic. He collected 10 ground balls and caused two turnovers over the two games.

Tilghman Sanders, Shenandoah (Sr. - M)
Sanders scored three times and dished out five assists in a 19-7 win at Wesley. He also caused a turnover.

Matt Baldwin, Virginia Wesleyan (Sr. - A/M)
Baldwin scored twice and dished out an assist in the Marlins 9-8 setback at Widener.
