Chris Darminio, Lynchburg, Jr., Long-stick Midfielder

Darminio, a junior from Sykesville, Md., has been expert as Lynchburg's long-stick midfielder, scoring goals in six straight games including a pair last week to help the Hornets secure the #2 seed in the ODAC Tournament. In a 20-8 win over Bridgewater, the All-American hopeful picked up a pair of ground balls and caused two turnovers while also getting forward for a goal in his fifth straight game. He increased that run to six games with a goal and an assist in a 13-10 win over Hampden-Sydney. He continued his strong midfield play with four ground balls and a trio of caused turnovers to key the Hornets attack. For the season, Darminio is third in the ODAC with a career-best 81 ground balls and tied for sixth with 21 caused turnovers. He has registered eight points on a career-high matching seven goals with one assist.
