Besz, a sophomore from King of Prussia, Pa., opened his collegiate ledger with a five-point outing to help nationally 11th-ranked Lynchburg begin the 2023 campaign with a 22-1 triumph over Ferrum. Besz, competing collegiately for the first time after losing last season due to injury, registered four goals and dished out an assist. One of his tallies came in a man-up situation. He also caused a turnover.
