Tallman, a senior from Grand Blanc, Mich., started the outdoor season on the right foot with a pair of individual event wins, a relay victory and a second place finish in a relay at the season-opening W&L Carnival.  Tallman owns the top times in the ODAC thru the first weekend with marks of 21.86 seconds in the 200-meter dash and 47.92 seconds in the 400-meter dash.  His 400-dash time is tops in NCAA Division III thus while, while his 200-dash time ranks sixth.  Tallman also helped W&L to a win in the 4x100-meter relay in a time of 41.73 seconds, the second-best time in the country.  He and his Generals' teammates finished second in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:19.02.

Men's Outdoor Track & Field Honor Roll

Don Mills, Jr., Bridgewater (Fr., Throws - Leesburg, Ga.)
Mills won three throwing events at the Roanoke Invitational on the way to earning Male MVP of the meet.  He claimed the discus with a toss of 38.52 meters (126' 4.0") and added the shot put win with a heave of 13.32 meters (43' 8.0").  He also won the javelin with a throw of 33.44 meters (109' 8.0").

Chad Norton, Guilford (Sr., Distance - Walled Lake, Mich.)
Norton posted the eighth-fastest time in the 3,000-meter run at the Wake Forest Open with a time of 9:42.47 to place fourth.

Rachad Davis, Lynchburg (Sr., Hurdles - Virginia Beach, Va.,)
Davis continued his dominance in the hurdles events, winning the 400-meter hurdles in 53.39 seconds at the Dr. Jack Toms Invitational.  That time leads NCAA Division III.  He also placed eighth in the long jump at 5.84 meters (19' 2.0").

Randy Lott, Virginia Wesleyan (Sr., Sprints - Virginia Beach, Va.)
Lott competed at the Wake Forest Open to start the outdoor campaign.  He reset his own school record in the 100-meter dash with a fourth place time of 10.60 seconds, which tops NCAA Division III.  He went on to post a time of 21.95 seconds in the 200-meter dash, which is second in the ODAC and sixth in the country.  He and his teammates placed third in the 4x100-meter relay in 42.33 seconds, and placed seventh in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:21.96.
