Kaleigh Hinton, Washington and Lee, Sr., Hurdles

Hinton, a senior from Florham Park, N.J., took over the #1 positions on the ODAC season charts in both the 100-meter and 400-meter hurdles events at the W&L Carnival over the weekend. Hinton was the top Division III finisher in both disciplines, finishing second overall in each. Her time of 1:06.90 in the 400-meter hurdles is 11th in the country and nearly three-seconds faster than the closer league competitor. Her ODAC-best time of 16.00 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles sits 33rd in Division III. Hinton also competed in the 4x400-meter relay, helping W&L to third overall and second amongst D-III competitors at 4:14.54.

Women's Outdoor Track & Field - Track Events Weekly Honor Roll

Emily Valle, BC: placed second in the 400m dash (1:02.11) and third in the 100m hurdles (16.58) at the W&L Carnival. Both times rank third in the ODAC.

Hannah Nichols, EMU: won the 400m dash at the W&L Carnival with an ODAC second-best time of 1:01.87. Helped EMU to fourth in the 4x400m relay (4:14.72).

Aislynn Smith, SU: competed in two events at the W&L Carnival. Won the steeplechase in 11:49.53 and finished 11th in the 5,000m run (18:54.99).

Jayla Cross, VWU: competed three times at the UMW Opener. Finished third in both the 100m and 200m dashes. Posted the ODAC's best 200m time (27.29) and second-best 100m time (13.05 prelims; 13.08 finals). Helped VWU win the 4x100m relay (51.12).
