Shadkhoo, a first-year from Herndon, Va., opened the outdoor season with a pair of strong runs at the Wendy's Seahawk Invitational hosted by UNC-Wilmington. Shadkhoo posted the 10th-fastest 100-meter dash in program history with a spring of 0:10.91 to finish fourth overall. He then posted a time of 0:21.97 to place sixth in the 200-meter dash. That time would have been a top-five ODAC mark a season ago.
