McCaffery, a first-year from Santa Barbara, Calif., set personal-best marks in all four throwing events at the W&L Spring Term Kick-Off to close the regular season ahead of the ODAC Championships. McCaffery finished second in the discus at 31.88m (118-5.00), fourth in the javelin at 31.25m (102-6.00), sixth in the shot put at 10.06m (33-0.25) and seventh in the hammer throw at 36.10m (118-5.00). In each of her four events, she registered a Top 8 mark in the league this season, highlighted by the fourth-best throw in the conference this year in the javelin. In the hammer, she registered the fourth-best mark in program history.
