Allison Bobst, Lynchburg, So., Pole Vault/Hurdles

Bobst, a sophomore from Swedesboro, N.J., had an all-around strong day over three events at the Division I-heavy Colonial Relays hosted by the College of William & Mary. Bobst strengthened her grip on the top mark in the ODAC in the pole vault. She cleared 3.55 meters (11-7.75) to finish third overall and first among Division III competitors. That new personal-best mark is third all-time in Lynchburg history and currently ranks 19th in Division III. Bobst also competed in the 400-meter hurdles and 4x400-meter relays on the track. In the hurdles, she finished 15th overall 1:05.88. That ranks third in the ODAC and 27th in the country. In the 4x400-relay, Bobst ran the anchor leg following teammates Lizzie Davis, Vuronika Barnes, and Jessica Cammarata. They posted a time of 3:55.28 to finish 10th overall. That time is #1 in the ODAC and fourth in Division III.
