  • All-ODAC Swimming Teams Announced
    February 15, 2013
    Washington and Lee University won its sixth straight and 23rd overall ODAC swimming title on Sunday, powered by 18 athletes that earned all-conference recognition, 11 on the All-ODAC First Team. Emory & Henry College placed four Wasps on the first team, while Randolph-Macon College rounded out the 17-swimmer squad with two first team honorees.
  • ODAC Spotlight Athlete of the Week: Delaney Rolfe, W&L Swimming

    Washington and Lee University senior swimmer Delaney Rolfe is a champion in and out of the pool. She is a three-time winner of the ODAC/Farm Bureau Scholar-Athlete of the Year award, an honor selected by the league's sports information directors. She is also a two-time winner of the 500-yard freestyle at the ODAC Swimming Championships. She's won the event each of the past two years.
  • Washington and Lee Wins 23rd ODAC Swimming Championship

    Washington and Lee University won four events during Sunday's final day of competition to increase its point total to 1,000 and win the 2013 ODAC Swimming Championships, the program's 23rd overall and sixth straight league title. Randolph-Macon College finished second with 515 points, while Bridgewater College’s second place finish in the meet’s final event secured third place by four points (412-to-408) over Emory & Henry College.
  • Washington and Lee Extends Lead at ODAC Swimming Championships

    Washington and Lee University won all seven events competed on the second the day of the 2013 ODAC Swimming Championships, setting a pair of records in the process. The Generals have racked up 653 points to lead the team standings. Randolph-Macon College remains in second with 356 points, and Bridgewater College switched places with Emory & Henry College to take over third place with 283 points, just six points clear of E&H.
  • Washington and Lee Leads After Day 1 of ODAC Swimming Championships

    Washington and Lee University won four of the five events competed and was responsible for one of two records broken on the first day of the 2013 ODAC Swimming Championships. The Generals racked up 294 points to open up a wide margin on second place Randolph-Macon College (140 pts.). Emory & Henry College sits third with 132 points, having the second record of the evening.
  • 2013 ODAC Swimming Championship Preview

    The 2013 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Swimming Championships will take place February 8-10 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, NC. This marks the second year the championship has been in Greensboro.
  • Generals Tabbed Atop ODAC Swimming Coaches Poll

    Washington and Lee University picked up eight first place votes and 64 total points on the way to topping the 2012-13 ODAC Swimming Coaches Poll. Randolph-Macon College received the remaining top nod towards 57 tallies to hold down the second position in the annual survey of the league's head coaches. Bridgewater College and Sweet Briar College were both awarded 45 points to tie for third.
