  • Washington & Lee Sweeps ODAC Cross Country Races

    Washington & Lee University swept the ODAC Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon, marking the fourth consecutive time the Generals’ harriers have claimed both races. Lynchburg College’s Ricky Flynn topped the men’s contingent while W&L’s Kat Telfeyan one-upped her 2006 Rookie of the Year to claim the women’s individual crown. The victories earned Flynn and Telfeyan ODAC Male and Female Runner of the Year awards, respectively.
  • ODAC Cross Country Championship Hosted by W&L

    The ODAC men and Women’s Cross Country Championships are slated for Saturday, October 27th on Washington & Lee’s home course in Lexington, Va. The women’s race kicks off at 11:00 a.m. while the men leave the starting line at noon.
  • W&L Picked to Win Fourth Straight Men’s X-Country Title

    Washington & Lee University earned all but two first place votes as the Generals were picked to repeat as men’s cross country champions in the annual ODAC Men’s Cross Country Preseason Poll. Bridgewater College received the remaining top nods in a tight second place finish (98 and 91 votes, respectively), and Lynchburg College picked up 78 tallies to finish third through the coaches’ survey.
  • W&L Women Picked to Win Fourth Straight Cross Country Crown

    Washington & Lee University (81 votes) received all nine first place votes in the annual ODAC Women’s Cross Country Preseason Poll. Roanoke College (70) was chosen second by the league’s coaches with Lynchburg College and Bridgewater College (58 and 51, respectively) battling for the third position.
