2021 ODAC Basketball Tournament News

The University of Lynchburg and Roanoke College did not disappoint in their first-ever meeting in the ODAC women's basketball championship game on Thursday evening in Lynchburg's Turner Gymnasium. The Hornets fast-start and late-push was met by the Maroons timely outside shooting in the Lynchburg's 67-61 triumph to lift their second ODAC women's basketball trophy.

Randolph-Macon College is champion of ODAC men's basketball for the fifth time since 2011, with Thursday night's 70-62 victory over the University of Lynchburg marking the Yellow Jackets first back-to-back title winning effort during that stretch.

Bridgewater College has been forced to withdraw from the ODAC Women’s Basketball Tournament due to COVID-19 pandemic protocols, per an announcement by the school on Friday morning.

Bridgewater College enters as the tournament's top seed after going 4-0 thru its conference schedule. The University of Lynchburg, Washington and Lee University, and Roanoke College round out the top-four seeds, respectively.
