November 3, 2012 Washington and Lee Wins ODAC Record 13th Volleyball Crown
After a three-year hiatus, the Washington and Lee volleyball team is once again the ODAC Champions. The second-seeded Generals defeated fourth-seeded Lynchburg, 3-1, in the ODAC Tournament Championship on Saturday at Randolph-Macon to claim the title. W&L earns the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament, which is set to begin opening round play next week.

The Lynchburg College volleyball team advanced to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) championship game after defeating top-seeded Randolph-Macon College, 3-1, early Saturday. LC won 25-21, 25-22, 21-25, 25-23 in a very close match, and it gave the team its highest win total since 1981.

In the semifinals of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament hosted by Randolph-Macon College, the second-seeded Washington and Lee volleyball team defeated third-seeded Bridgewater College, 3-0, on Saturday. The win advanced W&L to the championship match where it will face fourth-seeded Lynchburg College who upset top-seeded Randolph-Macon, 3-1, in the other semifinal.

The Randolph-Macon Volleyball team topped visiting Shenandoah, 3-0, Wednesday evening in the quarterfinals of the 2012 ODAC Championship Tournament. The victory advances top-seeded R-MC to the semifinal round which they will host along with finals.
