ODAC Football Play of the Week: Week 3

Who will be the winner of this week's ODAC Football Play of the Week?  You make the call!

Each week, our member schools submit plays to the conference office for your consideration for the ODAC Play of the Week.  Watch each of the finalists below and then vote for the play that you think is the best of the week in the poll at the bottom of the page.  Each week's winner will be announced on Wednesday afternoons.  The winners will be eligible for the ODAC Football Play of the Year at the end of the season!

PLAY 1: Bridgewater vs. Ferrum

  PLAY 2: Hampden-Sydney at Coast Guard
Final Votes Received: 27.3%
Description: With 1:40 to play in the fourth quarter, Shawn Lee hauls in a touchdown pass in the back corner of the end zone with a defender draped over him.  The pass, from quarterback Willie Logan, covered 23 yards and helped BC secure a 51-28 victory over Ferrum.   Description: Late in the first quarter of the Tigers 49-7 triumph at the Coast Guard Academy, ODAC leading receiver Holton Walker beat the coverage deep and turned out an 84-yard touchdown reception, which put H-SC up, 19-0, at the time.  The play also marks the longest offensive play in the ODAC this season.

 

     
PLAY 3: Randolph-Macon at Bethany
Final Votes Received: 2.9%
  PLAY 4: Shenandoah at Christopher Newport
Final Votes Received: 32.2%
Description: With just under five minutes left in the first quarter, R-MC running back Will McGhee burst thru the Bethany line for a 37-yard touchdown run, the first of two 37-yard scoring scampers for McGhee.  The R-MC junior ran for 296 yards on the day, leading his squad to a 36-28 victory.
  Description: Early in the fourth quarter and with SU pinned in its own end by CNU, punter Justin Neff connected with Byron Mitchell on a 28-yard fake punt completion.  The play not only maintain possession for the Hornets, but it led to a Shenandoah touchdown nine plays later.
