  • Swimming All-Conference Teams Announced

    Washington and Lee placed nine student-athletes on the 13-woman All-ODAC Swimming First Team following its record 21st ODAC title last month. The Generals secured 17 honors in total between the first and second teams, and picked up a pair of individual honors. Randolph-Macon won three major awards, also claiming 10 spots on the All-ODAC teams.
  • Generals Win 21st ODAC Swimming Title

    Washington and Lee University won three more events on Sunday evening, powering the Generals to their fourth straight ODAC/Atlantic States Swimming Championship title. It also marked their 21st overall ODAC crown. Randolph-Macon College finished second followed by Sweet Briar College in third and Bridgewater College in fourth.
  • Generals Extend Championships Lead

    Washington and Lee extended its lead to 156 points over Randolph-Macon following the second day of competition at the ODAC/Atlantic States Swimming Championships. Both the Generals and Yellow Jackets won three events on the day. R-MC's Tracilyn Babington (pictured) eclipsed the NCAA B-cut qualifying time in the 100-yard breaststroke, setting an ODAC record.
  • Generals on Top After First Day

    Washington and Lee scored only one event victory, but Generals dotted much of the upper ranks for each of the five disciplines from Friday to have W&L sitting atop the team standings following the first day of action at the ODAC/Atlantic States Swimming Championships. Randolph-Macon is second, while Sweet Briar stands third heading into Saturday.
  • ODAC Swimming Championship Preview

    Seven ODAC schools and two non-conference institutions are on their way to Christiansburg for the 2011 ODAC/Atlantic States Swimming Championships. The three-day event begins on Friday at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center. The CAC (pictured) is a new venue for the meet this year, moving from its previous home at Radford's Dedmon Center.

    Sweet Briar head coach Jason Gallaher joined Brad and J.J. on the ODAC Podcast last week to discuss the upcoming ODAC/Atlantic States Swimming Championships, his Vixen team during the 2010-11 season, and what its like being back in the ODAC. The show also features interviews from BC's Christina Rhodes (track) and Doug Riply, the PA announcer for the ODAC basketball tournaments.
  • Generals Win ODAC Fall Relays

    The 2010-11 ODAC swimming season recently got underway as Washington and Lee University hosted the ODAC Fall Relays on Saturday.  The Generals claimed six of 10 events, while Randolph-Macon College won four relays. 
  • W&L Tops ODAC Swimming Poll

    Washington and Lee University garnered six first place votes and 48 poll points as the league’s coaches voted the Generals to the top spot in the 2010-11 ODAC Swimming Preseason Poll. Randolph-Macon College collected the remaining top nod and 42 tallies for second place, and Sweet Briar College secured third position with 35 points in the annual survey.
