Nancy Kelly snared an offensive rebound with nine seconds on the clock, drew a foul, and hit two pressure-packed free throws to help lift fourth-seeded Virginia Wesleyan College to a thrilling 59-57 victory over third-seeded Lynchburg College in the 2015 ODAC Women's Basketball championship game. The win gave VWC its first-ever ODAC championship in women's basketball.

Senior Marcus Badger was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player with 19 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in the title game as the top-seeded Randolph-Macon men's basketball team outlasted No. 2 Virginia Wesleyan 81-74 in overtime in the ODAC Championship Game Sunday afternoon at the Salem Civic Center.

The Marlins jumped on top-seeded Eastern Mennonite University's Royals early and led most of the way en route to posting an impressive 78-71 victory in Saturday's semifinal game at the Salem Civic Center. VWC, which snapped EMU's 11-game winning streak, advances to the ODAC championship game on Sunday, March 1, at 3:30 p.m. It will mark Virginia Wesleyan's sixth appearance in the title game overall and fifth in the last nine years, the latter under the director of current head coach Stephany Dunmyer.

No. 1 Randolph-Macon controlled the final minutes of the first half in Saturday's ODAC Semifinal game, and made the stretch stick as they ended Eastern Mennonite's season, 67-57. After leading by 10 early in the game, it was a disappointing end for the senior-laded Runnin Royals as they close the year with a record of 17-10.

Eastern Mennonite University put the finishing touches on a one-loss conference campaign to stake its claim to the top seed in the upcoming ODAC Women's Basketball Tournament for the third straight year. The Royals and the remaining top four seeds in the 12-team tournament field earn byes into the quarterfinals.

The final week of the ODAC regular season required some shuffling due to mother nature, but in the end, all games were completed to setup this week's ODAC Men's Basketball Tournament. Randolph-Macon College went thru its league schedule unscathed at 16-0, earning the Yellow Jackets the top seed for the second straight season.
