ODAC Men's Lacrosse Pairings Set

Lynchburg to Host Final Four

FOREST, Va. --- Lynchburg College (15-2 overall, 9-0 in the ODAC) secured the top seed of the men's lacrosse tournament after going undefeated during the regular season. The Hornets earn a quarterfinal bye and the privilege of hosting the semifinals and finals of the 2015 ODAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament on May 2-3.

Virginia Wesleyan College (10-5, 7-2) and Roanoke College (10-5, 7-2) tied at 7-2 in league play, but the Marlins garnered the second quarterfinal bye as the second seed thanks to its win over the Maroons earlier in the season. RC will host one quarterfinal game as the third seed.

Hampden-Sydney College (9-6, 6-3) and Washington and Lee University (11-6, 6-3) also ended the regular season in a deadlock at 6-3, but the Tigers will be the fourth seed after defeating the Generals in late March. H-SC will serve as the second quarterfinal host, while W&L owns the fifth seed and will make the trip to Farmville to face Hampden-Sydney.

Guilford College (10-5, 4-5) earned the final spot of the six team tournament field outright and will face Roanoke in Salem for its opening game. This marks the first time in school history that the Quakers have made a postseason appearance.

Play is set to begin on Tuesday, April 28, with both quarterfinal contests.  The semifinals and championship will be played at Lynchburg College on Saturday and Sunday, May 2-3.
