Generals Top Field for Second Straight Season

FOREST, Va. --- There was one tie in the conference men's lacrosse standings this season, but for the first time in three years, it did not involve the top position. That is because Washington and Lee University ran thru its league slate with a 9-0 record to secure the #1 seed in the upcoming ODAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament.

Top billing awards the Generals and defending ODAC champion Hampden-Sydney College as the second seed byes thru the quarterfinal round. Washington and Lee will serve as host of the final-four semifinal and finals rounds next weekend following quarterfinals at the #3 and #4 seeds on Tuesday.

Roanoke College and Lynchburg College will be those two hosts. The Maroons welcome Bridgewater College to Kerr Stadium on Tuesday. The Eagles have zero issue with the trip south as this marks the first time in program history (2013-present) that Bridgewater appears in the six-team tournament field. Lynchburg will see fifth-seeded Randolph-Macon College arrive on campus on Tuesday.

The winners of Tuesday quarterfinals will meet W&L and H-SC in the semifinals on Friday, May 4. The championship is set for Saturday, May 5.
