The Washington and Lee women's tennis team claimed its 22nd Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship title after defeating Hollins, 5-0, in the championship match on Sunday afternoon on the campus of Randolph-Macon. The Generals clinched the match by winning all three doubles matches and their matchups at No. 4 and No. 6 singles.

The weather forced the semifinal round of the 2012 ODAC Women's Tennis Championships to be moved indoors on Saturday. Hollins wouldn't let a little weather delay stop them from a re-match with Bridgewater College, as the Eagles had defeated Hollins earlier this season, 5-4 in mid March.

The fifth-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team downed Lynchburg, 5-0, in ODAC Tournament Quarterfinal play on Saturday afternoon at the W&L outdoor tennis courts. The Generals will face Roanoke College on Saturday, April 28 in a semifinal contest at Randolph-Macon College.

Fourth-seeded Roanoke College claimed a 5-0 victory over number-five Guilford College Saturday in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women's Tennis Tournament quarterfinal. The Quakers advance to the semifinals and will face Washington and Lee University. The semifinals and final will be hosted at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va.

On Saturday afternoon at the BC Tennis Courts, the Bridgewater Eagles women's tennis team posted a 5-0 shutout win over visiting Randolph-Macon in the quarterfinal round of the 2012 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament.With the win, the Eagles move on to next weekend's semifinal round to be played on the campus of Randolph-Macon.

Hollins University opened played in the 2012 ODAC Women's Tennis Tournament a day early due to a poor forecast for Saturday's originally scheduled date. The changed didn't stop third-seeded Hollins from moving onto the ODAC semifinals with a 5-0 triumph over Randolph College. HU will take on Bridgewater or Randolph-Macon next weekend at Randolph-Macon.

Winner of the past nine conference championships, W&L is followed closely into the postseason by second seeded Bridgewater College (9-1, 11-4).
