PLAY 1: BRIDGEWATER VS. GETTYSBURG

PLAY 2: CATHOLIC AT MCDANIEL

Description: Early in the third quarter, BC quarterback Ross Rushing showed his strength by completing an 18-yard pass to David Robinson with a Gettysburg defending dragging him to the turf.  The completion kept alive a drive that would leave to an Eagles' touchdown.   Description: Catholic trailed McDaniel, 30-14, with 13:02 to play, but quarterback TJ Tutone and receiver Lucas Morley connected on three touchdown passes in the remaining minutes to lock up a Cardinal's win.  That effort included this 49-yard catch-and-run, giving CUA the lead with 0:13 on the clock.

PLAY 3: EMORY & HENRY VS. FERRUM

PLAY 4: GUILFORD VS. GREENSBORO

Description: Late in the first quarter, E&H's Andrew Long scooped a Ferrum fumble and darted 46-yards to pay-dirt for a 10-0 Wasps' lead.  Emory & Henry would go on to win the contest, 55-7.   Description: Guilford running back D'Eric Bell showed off his punt returning skils by scoring the first of his two touchdowns on the day via a 56-yard jaunt thru Greensboro's special teams. The score marked Bell's first career punt return TD and helped him to 223 all-purpose yards on 13 touches against The Pride.

PLAY 5: HAMPDEN-SYDNEY VS. WABASH

PLAY 6: JOHNS HOPKINS VS. RANDOLPH-MACON

Description: Faced with a fourth-and-five from it's own 42-yard line, Hampden-Sydney pulled off a planned fake punt to pick up 16 yards and a first down.  Carter Cunningham absorbed a hit as he threw and connected with Jeff Rowell, who controlled the pass just before taking a hit of his own.   Description: Randolph-Macon put together scoring drives on its first two possessions against Johns Hopkins, both of 70 yards or better.  A pair of first year players put the finishing touches on the second drive and quarterback Joseph Vairo connected with Eric Hoy for a 28-yard touchdown and a 10-7 R-MC edge late in the opening frame.

PLAY 7: SHENANDOAH VS. GALLAUDET

PLAY 8: WASHINGTON AND LEE VS AVERETT

Description: With Gallaudet just about to enter the SU red zone, Weldon Gilchrist, Jr., corralled an errant throw from the Bisons' quarterback and turned it into a pick-six late in the first quarter.  His 80-yard return for a touchdown gave the Hornets' a 14-0 advantage in a game they'd win 51-6.   Description: Quarterback Charlie Nelson not only kept the offense chugging in the Generals' record-setting rushing day, but he also got in the act in a big way.  Mid-way thru the third quarter, Nelson burst thru the left side of the line and sprinted 57 yards for the second of his two touchdowns on the day.  W&L would go on to run for a program and ODAC record 649 yards.
