    Eighth-ranked Wesleyan (Conn.) scored the final five goals of the game to defeat the second-ranked Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team, 13-7, on Saturday in the NCAA Regional Semifinals at Gettysburg College.

    The second-ranked Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team ended the first half with 14 consecutive goals on its way to an 18-9 victory over 20th-ranked Ithaca on Sunday in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at Watt Field.
  • W&L Earns All Five Special Honors to Highlight All-ODAC Women's Lax Awards

    Washington and Lee University earned all five major individual honors and took home a league-best nine all-conference laurels to headline the 2019 All-ODAC Women's Lacrosse Awards. Haley Tucker and Caitlin Anderson top the chart as the ODAC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively. Generals' mentor Brooke O'Brien earned ODAC Coach of the Year recognition, while attack Katherine Faria received ODAC Rookie of the Year distinction. Fellow attack Cordelia Peters garnered ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete honors from the league's sports information directors.

    Washington and Lee University is set to enter the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament for the 10th straight season and 19th time overall following its record 20th ODAC title over the weekend. The 2019 national field consists of 42 teams.

    For the 10th straight season, the No. 1 ranked Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team claimed the ODAC Championship, as the top-seeded Generals defeated second-seeded Randolph-Macon, 17-7, in the title game on Sunday at Watt Field.

    The top two seeds in the 2019 ODAC Women's Lacrosse remain the same as the previous four season as Washington and Lee University and Randolph-Macon College stand atop the league table following completion of regular season play on Saturday. Both clubs earn byes thru the quarterfinal round.

    Familiarity reigns at the top the ODAC Women's Lacrosse preseason poll with the same two teams occupying the top two positions for the fourth straight season. Nine-time defending champion Washington and Lee University sits #1 with a chart-topping 81 points including nine first place votes. Randolph-Macon College ranks second with 71 tallies including the remaining first place nod.
  • Interim Tag Removed as Bladen Named Randolph Women's Lacrosse Head Coach

    The Randolph Athletics department is pleased to name Scott Bladen as the new head women's lacrosse coach. Bladen has been the interim coach since September.

  • ODAC Announces 2017-18 Sportsmanship Teams

    The Old Dominion Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2017-18 ODAC Sportsmanship Teams in each of the conference's 24 sponsored sports. The squads are comprised of a student-athlete selected by the coaching staffs of each team competing under the conference banner with all sports and schools fully represented.
