  • Generals Duo Earns Top ODAC Track & Field Awards

    Washington and Lee University track & field standouts Dana Lee and Zander Tallman earned the conference's top track awards on Tuesday as the duo were tabbed the ODAC Track & Field Athletes of the Year. The Generals' stars are on opposite ends of their collegiate careers with Tallman recently graduating and Lee completing her first campaign in Lexington.
  • ODAC Announces Jopson and Berkley Award Winners

    One school received its record 19th season-ending individual honor while the other earned just its second such prize as the ODAC Board of Directors announced its top two individual student-athlete awards on Monday. Washington and Lee University cross country and track star Annelise Madison was recognized as the Marjorie Berkley Award recipient, while Guilford College baseball standout John Macon Smith took home the Harry G. "Doc" Jopson Award.
  • Tallman's 400-Meter Title Highlights ODAC Showing at NCAA Championships

    Washington and Lee University sprinter Zander Tallman was one of three ODAC student-athletes to earn All-American honors at the 2014 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships. Tallman highlighted 17 competitors from the conference by speeding his way to the 400-meter dash title on the George Gauthier Track in Delaware, Ohio.
  • ODAC Athletes Selected for NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

    The NCAA released the final championship field of the 2013-14 athletic campaign on Sunday afternoon with the announcement of the competitors for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Nine men and eight women from ODAC schools will make the trip Delaware, Ohio, for the three event hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University at George Gauthier Track.

The information you'll find in here includes current regional rankings, national poll ratings, championship selection release dates, and the make-up of each championship. We'll leave predictions up to the national committees, but it never hurts to have all the info when selections do come out.
  • Lynchburg Men, Roanoke Women Capture ODAC Track Titles

    Lynchburg and Roanoke added to their ODAC record number of outdoor track & field titles as the Hornet men and Maroon women corralled the 2014 ODAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship team crowns. The 162 points accumulated by LC translated into its 28th conference title, while the 150.33 tallies gathered by RC secured a 10th league championship. Washington and Lee's Zander Tallman and Bridgewater's Kaylee Kubisiak were named the Athletes of the Meet.

    The ODAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships have proven to be as competitive an event as any in the conference over the last several years. The 2014 edition of the league's final affair is poised to fall in line as the conference's nine men's and women's track programs head to Salem, Va., and Roanoke College for competition on Friday and Saturday.
  • Championship Record by VWC’s Lott Highlights Day One of ODAC Track

    Virginia Wesleyan College sprinter Randy Lott won a pair of preliminary events and set a new meet record to highlight the first day of competition at the 2014 ODAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Roanoke College. Bridgewater College leads the women’s team standings by five points over Lynchburg College, while LC’s men hold a 12-point edge over BC prior to continuing the championship on Saturday.

    Washington and Lee Director of Athletics Jan Hathorn has announced the appointment of Dana Freeman as head women’s track & field and assistant women's cross country coach effective immediately.
  • Zach Haupt Named Head Track & Field Coach at Lynchburg
    August 06, 2013
    The Lynchburg College athletic department announced the hiring of Zach Haupt Tuesday as the men's and women's head indoor and outdoor track & field coach. Haupt has spent the last two years working at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as the short sprints and jumps coach.
